Results of 2019 Parent Questionnaire

Thank you to all of you that completed the parent questionnaire this term. The responses were overwhelmingly positive Here are a selection of comments you shared about St Nicholas.

“The school is a great school with great teachers. It is friendly and deals with problems straight away. I do think we as parents should have more information about our children’s progress especially the mini reports as they don’t tell you much”

Response: We review report formats every year and will consider your comments. We do provide 3 reports a year. The end of year report is a comprehensive account of achievements. The teachers are more than happy to talk to you about mini reports if you require more information.

Personally I think it would be nice for the children to have non uniform and fun days rather than just wear socks or headwear.”

Response: I agree with you about having non-uniform days. However, over the years we have noticed many children do not attend school on non-uniform days. For that reason we decided to try something different. We do still have dressing up days like reading events.
