Charities We Support
Attending to the Needs of Others
At St Nicholas CE Primary School, we support several charities. Each class has a chosen class charity that they raise money and awareness for throughout the year.
At St Nicholas we promote good attendance and punctuality, therefore we have decided to link our charity with our attendance. Each week, the class with the highest attendance wins £5 for their adopted charity. At the end of the academic year, the class with the overall highest attendance will have their charity purse doubled and all classes send their full amount raised to their given charity.
This year’s chosen class charities are:
YR – The Donkey Sanctuary
Y1 – Guide Dogs
Y2 – Ronald Macdonald
Y3 – Age UK
Y4 – RNLI
Y5 – Jason’s Wheels
Y6 – The Dog’s Trust and WWF
