Please find attached the Children, Family and Wellbeing Services' latest What's On Guide for Hyndburn. As they are adapting to a new way of working, all their groups are currently delivered on line using Zoom. They have ensured all necessary measures are in place to make these safe.

Dear Parents
Building trust and open communication with your child is of upmost importance. Make it safe for them to talk to you.
Make your position on drugs clear. Communicate in a way that is natural and comfortable for you.
Here are a few suggestions - "I want to make sure you know that I don't want you to take drugs. I care about you and don't want to see you hurt."
"Drugs can be very destructive. They have ruined many lives. I don't want them to ruin yours."
"Just know that I don't want you doing drugs or drinking alcohol. I want you to be healthy and successful."
Set a good example, encourage and support personal goals however big or small.
