Please read this important information regarding Key Workers and sending your children into school.
Key Worker Guidance
The first point to emphasise is the Government's "Stay at home where you can" message. Given the increasing infection rates in the country, we need to strongly ask that you only send your child/children to school if you are a 'Critical Worker' family or 'Vulnerable' family and you have no other alternative. This is to keep the children, their families and our staff as safe as possible. Even if your family is classified as being a 'Critical Worker' family, we ask you to consider if your child can be cared for and educated safely at home, especially on days when you may not be working.
At the moment, the Government guidance is that schools are only open to children who are:
(i) classed as 'Vulnerable' according to Government-determined criteria
(ii) have a parent who is a 'Critical Worker' according to specific Government criteria
A full copy of the Government criteria for vulnerable pupils and children of critical workers can be found here:

Bearing all this in mind, school will require proof that parents meet the specific criteria outlined in the latest Government guidance. This needs to be in the form of a letter from your employer confirming your critical worker/key worker status. Please can you bring your evidence from your employer to school at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
